Kokedama Workshop with Chris Mower Saturday, May 25th

Join us as we learn the art of Kokedama from local gardener, Chris Mower of White Stable Farms. Kokedama is a Japanese style of planting that replaces the traditional pot with wrapping the root system in moss and soil. It is a unique presentation style that makes a great housewarming gift, centerpieces and decoration. This is a wonderful way to spend a morning at the farm learning from the best. Chris, a horticulture major in college and an avid gardener started White Stable Farms when he retired from the corporate world. He discovered the planting style while traveling in Italy and decided to bring the technique to Saint Louis. Create two kokedamas for yourself or gift to a loved one! All supplies are included to create two Kokedama plants for $68. The plant varieties in the workshop may vary from photos shown.
